MeWater Youth Volunteer Opportunities
MeWater welcomes youth ages 13-17 to volunteer to support our surf camps. Volunteering for a MeWater Camp is an excellent way for youth to meet their community service hours requirement or engage meaningfully to give back to our community. Either way, we are here for it!
Join the team
Youth volunteers do not need surfing experience, though it would be excellent if they did
Surf camp volunteers work with our team to prepare and clean surf and beach equipment and support the MeWater youth on the beach and in the ocean during the camp session
MeWater holds its camps weekly throughout the year, with most of our camps taking place during summer
Single-day surf camps typically require a 4-5 hour time commitment
MeWater programming is all about opening up the canvas of Mother Nature to our participants and letting them paint and create their own experiences. It is the same for our volunteers. Please reach out below if you want to learn more about our youth volunteer opportunities.
What to Expect
A day at the beach with MeWater is a day of pure fun and fulfillment. Expect lots of splashing, surfing, boogie boarding, and endless smiles from both the kids and our volunteers.
Wondering what a typical volunteer does, what you need to bring, or anything else? We've got you!
